As much as I like it, I don't know that it would really be the "best motion picture of the year."<BR/><BR/>I said it first after seeing Button, and now, with the other films in the category chosen, I'll say it again. Best Make-up will be really interesting this year. Ledger's Joker face was perfect, but the magic of everyones' transformations in Button is undeniable. On the other hand, Hellboy 2 had some really interesting character work, too. (But where is the crossover from costume to make-up in that instance?)<BR/><BR/>One thing about best Costume - I never get it. Sometimes I see these amazing, historical epics nominated, and they lose to something about Wall Street workers in 1990. What's the deal? Milk is on there, but TDK isn't? Joker's getup was great in that, walking perfectly the line between comic book and real life. At least Button spanned 80 years, but Milk?
